1. speculation
suppose a person comes to stock market and invest in a company without any information and suddenly stock price go down he/she get loss, so he/she would think that the stock market is speculation. many people thinks that stock market is speculation but in reality stock market is not speculation there you have to do technical, fundamental analysis and understanding stock market trend. but people think that stock market is speculation.
2. buy low, sell high
people invest in stock market when the stock is going bullish or high. yeah we have to go with trend but anyone can get loss because if the stock price is on peak and someone invest in stock, because the stock price is on peak, the stock price will move down and that person get loss.
3. not doing proper analysis
no information is better than some information. if you invest in stock without proper analysis, there is lots chances to get loss.
4. tips
tips is one of the biggest reason why people get loss. lots of people invest in stock by the peoples' tips. you have to do own research to invest in a stock.
